"Knowing love, I can allow all things to come and go, to be as supple as the wind and to face all things with great courage. My heart is a open as the sky." ~Maya, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love

After my first hearbreak, many years ago, I promised myself I would live by these words and welcome all the magic life had already given me a taste of. Unfortunately, fear got the best of me, and insted of opening my heart I shut it and hid the key somewhere very dark and deep. Learning to "be as supple as the wind" takes great courage indeed. But if I remember correctly, it is infinately worth the risk.

It's always worth the risk.
It's even worth the pain.
But finding the courage to subject yourself to it . . . it's a long dark road and most times we forget our flashlights.

I hope you find your courage again soon.
And someone worthy of the search and the risk.

Have you ever played that game where you let yourself fall into the arms of the person standing behind you and trust they will catch you?

I keep wanting to believe, but everytime I start to fall, I catch myself.
